Executive Team

Keith Harvey is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Harvey served as President and Chief Operating Officer from December 2015 until he was appointed to his to current position in July 2020. Mr. Harvey also served as Executive Vice President – Fabricated Products from June 2014 to December 2015. Mr. Harvey joined Kaiser in 1981 as an industrial engineer at the company’s rolling mill in West Virginia. He subsequently held increasingly responsible positions in engineering and sales at several Kaiser locations and was named a Vice President in 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University.

Neal West is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. West joined Kaiser Aluminum in 2008 as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer and was named Chief Financial Officer in early 2019 and his current position in March 2021. Prior to joining Kaiser, Mr. West was Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer at Gateway, Inc. Prior to Gateway, he served in several roles over 19 years with Neptune Orient Lines/APL, one of the world’s largest container shipping and logistics companies. He holds a Master of Science degree in information systems from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business administration from Illinois State University. Mr. West is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

John M. Donnan is Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. He joined the company in 1993 as Associate Corporate Counsel, was named Deputy General Counsel in 2000 and General Counsel in 2007. Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel in March 2021, Mr. Donnan served as Executive Vice President – Legal, Compliance and Human Resources. Mr. Donnan manages the company’s corporate legal and internal audit functions. Prior to joining Kaiser, Mr. Donnan was an associate in the Corporate/Securities section of the Houston, Texas, office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in finance and accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the Texas and California bars.

Hugh (Jack) J. Barger, III is Executive Vice President – Sales and Marketing. Mr. Barger joined Kaiser Aluminum in June 2025 as Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing and has over 25 years of progressive experience in the metals industry. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Barger was President of Central Steel & Wire and previously held the position of Vice President of Sales at Central Steel & Wire. Prior to that, Mr. Barger held progressive leadership roles at A.M. Castle & Company. Mr. Barger has a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from North Carolina State University and a Master’s degree from Kent State University.

Thomas H. Robb is Executive Vice President – Manufacturing. Mr. Robb rejoined Kaiser Aluminum in August 2024 as Vice President – Finance before transitioning to Vice President – Finance and Packaging as he assumed responsibility for the company’s Warrick rolling mill in Evansville, Indiana. He served as Senior Vice President – Manufacturing until he was appointed to his current position in December 2025. Mr. Robb has an extensive global background in finance, strategy and operations with more than 20 years of combined international aluminum and metals experience. He has a Master’s degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida.

Vijai Narayan is Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Narayan joined Kaiser Aluminum in November 2022 as Vice President – Finance. Prior to joining Kaiser Aluminum, Mr. Narayan served as Vice President Finance and Controller of eviCore Healthcare and as a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice. Mr. Narayan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai, Master of Accountancy and Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Tennessee.

Iulian Gheorghe, Ph.D. is Senior Vice President – Advanced Engineering and Innovation. Dr. Gheorghe joined the company in February 2024 and was named to his current position in July 2025. He has over 32 years of industry experience, including 25 years in innovation, technical, operations, and research and development. Dr. Gheorghe has a Ph.D. in materials science from Clemson University, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in materials science from Bucharest Polytechnic Institute in Romania.

Jennifer K. Preston is Senior Vice President – Human Resources and Labor. Ms. Preston joined the company in June 2023 as Vice President – Human Resources and has more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience across both union and non-union manufacturing environments. Prior to joining Kaiser, she served as Director, Human Resources at Caterpillar, where she held a global role within Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology. Before that, Ms. Preston held progressive human resources and labor relations senior leadership roles with Archer Daniels Midland Company. Ms. Preston has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Human Resource Management from Illinois State University.
