Kaiser Aluminum Names Marketing Vice President For Ground Transportation
HOUSTON, Texas, February 11, 2004 -- Kaiser Aluminum has named Robert Swartz, 50, as the Vice President of Marketing for Ground Transportation, effective immediately.
Based at the company's Southfield, Michigan, Sales and Engineering office, Swartz has responsibility for all aspects of promotion and growth in the Ground Transportation market for Kaiser Aluminum.
"Rob has a proven ability to combine technical knowledge and marketing sophistication in a manner that enables him to build strong and long-lasting customer relationships," said Ted DiGuiseppe, Kaiser's Group Vice President -- Ground Transportation. "We believe he is the natural choice to fill this key role as we seek continued growth in the ground transportation market."
Swartz was most recently Marketing Manager for Ground Transportation. He joined Kaiser in 2001 as Marketing Manager for Industrial OEM. Before joining Kaiser, Swartz had been Vice President of Sales for General Extrusions.
Swartz holds a BS in Business Administration from Illinois State University.
